The JPI-EC-AMR project addresses the global challenge of antibiotic resistance by coordinating research efforts across multiple countries. It aims to understand the factors contributing to the spread of resistance and to develop strategies to mitigate its impact on human health.
Antibiotic resistance is a global problem.
It is considered by the World Health Organization as one of the three greatest threats to human health for the next decades. ’Enhanced coordination across national boundaries is needed to accelerate the efforts to tackle this grand challenge.
