ISEFOR addresses the threats to European forests from climate change and invasive species. The project focuses on identifying invasive organisms, developing diagnostic methods, analyzing the plant nursery trade, and creating models to predict risks to forest health under changing climate conditions.
European forests are under unprecedented threat from the combined forces of climate change and large increases in the numbers of alien invasive pests and pathogens resulting from changes in patterns of global trade.
