This observational study investigates icy bodies in our Solar System and beyond to enhance understanding of planet formation. It aims to gather data on surface properties, bulk physical characteristics, and distribution of ice, using advanced telescopic techniques and collaborations with space missions.
This proposal is for a four year observational study on icy bodies in our Solar System and in systems around other stars.
This will test planet formation theories, a key European astronomical research objective.
