The IRENA project aims to foster international collaboration on space exploration by developing demonstrators for atmospheric entry and re-entry technologies. It brings together major space agencies and industry leaders to define joint projects and enhance global cooperation in this field.
In January 2014, the ISEF participants insisted on the importance of “fostering international cooperation for additional space exploration projects”.
