The IProPBio project aims to enhance the bio-based economy in Europe by addressing key challenges in biomass processing. It focuses on developing innovative methods for converting waste biomass into high-value products while promoting knowledge exchange among researchers.
Bio-based economy in Europe involves 22 million people and turns over roughly 2.4 billion €.
The full realization of its huge potential, however, requires expert knowledge and synergy of different competencies.
