iPollinate is creating an IoT sensor to monitor honeybee foraging rates, enhancing pollination efficiency for farmers. By integrating machine learning, the project aims to boost crop yields sustainably without additional agricultural inputs.
iPollinate will bring to market a unique IoT sensor that provides real time monitoring of the foraging rate of honeybeecolonies used for pollination services.
This data will be correlated with hive strength and health data using Machine Learning (ML) techniques to provide a precision pollination service enabling farmers to optimise pollination efficiency and crop yields.
