The IPACTS project focuses on creating a collaborative network between European and Chinese universities to advance surface engineering research. It involves training researchers in thermal spraying techniques to enhance sustainable materials and low carbon-emission manufacturing practices.
IPACTS will develop an EU-China network for surface engineering research by uniting activities among 4 top ranking European and Chinese universities. 28 researchers will be exchanged and trained with latest techniques covering the complete cycle of thermal spraying research from coating process, structure and application.
