The INVISIBILIA project investigates bilingualism in medieval Northern Europe by analyzing Latin components in Old Norse manuscripts. It aims to digitally catalog and publish these texts, enhancing access to historical documents and fostering collaboration in the field of Digital Humanities.
In the project “Tracing the Invisible.
Old Norse and Latin in Medieval Manuscripts (INVISIBILIA)”, I propose to investigate bilingualism in medieval Northern Europe by focussing on the most popular media of the time: manuscripts.
