This project investigates the development of mouse embryos during implantation, focusing on the role of pluripotent epiblast cells and extraembryonic tissues. It aims to enhance understanding of embryonic development and the manipulation of pluripotent cell potential.
The mouse embryo is an excellent model for human development.
Its preimplantation stages of development in vitro have been extensively studied.
Now similar approaches can be applied to implantation stages, previously hidden from view in the uterus.
