The IntraMAP project focuses on developing aptamers to study cellular signaling and protein complexes. By automating the evolution of these aptamers, the project aims to uncover fundamental principles of cellular behavior and advance the understanding of complex biological systems.
Cellular behaviour is methodically studied using systems biology approaches that analyse the presence, absence, or oscillation of biomolecules.
To this end, exogenous perturbations, among others, are used to alter protein expression and study their effects on cellular homeostasis.
