INTERPRETER develops a modular grid management solution to help electricity grid operators transition to a renewable-based system. It offers ten software applications for optimal design, planning, and operation of the grid, focusing on distribution networks and addressing challenges like reverse power flows.
The transition towards a low-carbon economy is significantly transforming the power system from a unidirectional, centralised and fossil-based system towards a bidirectional, distributed and renewable-based one.
