This project aims to enhance negotiation skills by examining the cognitive and emotional processes involved in international negotiations. It focuses on understanding how negotiators' styles and characteristics influence decision-making under stress, with implications for conflict resolution.
Global challenges must be met with an emphasis on peace and negotiation, in harmony with other actors, through alliances and international consensus.
The literature on psychology applied to international negotiation has been progressing at a theoretical level, but we know much less about how to master interacting cognitive and affective processes to shape judgements and decisions.
