This project trains a researcher to investigate the internal exposure, bioaccumulation, and bioavailability of persistent organic pollutants in marine organisms. It aims to bridge the gap between external contaminant concentrations and their effects on living organisms.
The training program is designed for Annika Jahnke, a very talented young researcher who has successfully completed her doctoral studies on polyfluorinated alkyl substances in the marine atmosphere.
