This project investigates anomalies in particle physics by analyzing data from the Belle II experiment in Japan. It aims to identify new light particles and test the standard model's predictions using advanced analysis techniques, including deep learning, focusing on lepton flavor and dark matter interactions.
Several measurements in the quark and in the lepton flavor sectors have shown anomalies with respect to the standard model expectations and are now referred to as flavor anomalies.
