The IntegrAAir project investigates the dynamics of integrons, which are genetic elements that contribute to antibiotic resistance, in the atmosphere. It aims to understand how environmental factors influence these elements and their implications for public health.
In the current context of the “One-Health” concept, the importance of assessing and monitoring microbial biodiversity and ecology in all environmental compartments is becoming increasingly apparent.
