The InShaPe project aims to enhance the Powder Bed Fusion Process of Metals using Laser Beam by integrating AI-driven beam shaping and multispectral monitoring. This innovation targets industries like aerospace and energy, improving manufacturing precision, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
The overall aim of the InShaPe project is to develop and demonstrate in four different industrial use cases (aerospace, energy, space and industrial goods) a novel first-time-right Powder Bed Fusion Process of Metals using Laser Beam (PBF-LB/M).
