This project develops nanophotonic devices inspired by insect brains for integrated sensing and neural computation. It aims to create energy-efficient chips for autonomous navigation by combining advanced semiconductor technology with novel memory components, enabling robust optical sensing and information processing.
We propose nanophotonic on-chip devices for integrated sensing and neural computation, inspired by the insect brain.
