This project explores the socio-cultural dynamics of domestic gender-based violence in Senegal. It examines the perceptions of various social actors, the implementation of legal frameworks, and the informal practices surrounding this issue.
Preventing and responding to domestic gender-based violence is a socio-cultural and political stake.
Various public policies, including development ones, address this subject but if we consider their implementations several discrepancies, gaps and contradictions emerge.
