The project focuses on enhancing the reliability and lifespan of wind turbine components, specifically bearings and gearboxes. It aims to develop innovative testing methodologies that integrate virtual and physical testing to expedite the development of larger wind turbines.
The future wind turbines will require flexible and economically affordable PDPs to obtain reliable and validated new concepts for bigger wind turbines or already installed turbines.
