This project examines mega-infrastructures in Kenya, analyzing their role as both physical entities and governance tools. It explores how these infrastructures influence social and political dynamics, shaping experiences of progress and development while exposing populations to various forms of control and subjugation.
The proposed project focuses on mega-infrastructures in contemporary Kenya and provides an ethnographically-grounded theoretical account of social and political geographies of contemporary mega-infrastructures.
