The Infrafrontier-I3 project focuses on creating a comprehensive resource of mouse genetic models to aid biomedical research. It aims to archive new mouse mutant lines and enhance access to phenotyping services, thereby supporting the study of human diseases through improved mouse models.
The mouse shows great similarities in development, physiology and biochemistry to humans, which makes it a key model for research into human disease.
