This project aims to enhance human-computer interaction by developing efficient gestural interfaces for text and command entry, particularly on mobile devices. It focuses on creating tools for pen-gesture recognition and sketch-based programming environments, making technology more user-friendly and engaging.
My overall vision is that by combining inference algorithms and user interface technology, we can construct more human-computer interaction interfaces that are more efficient, less fatiguing and more interesting to use.
In my dissertation I focused on using such an approach for effective text and command entry on mobile devices.
