This project studies how infants understand social interactions by examining their ability to recognize the goals behind others' behaviors. Using eye tracking, it aims to explore the influence of specific and general social experiences on this understanding.
How do infants come to understand social interactions between other people?
The first objective of the current project is to examine when infants recognize the joint and individual goals that underlie others' social interactions.
This will be achieved with a developmental study using eye tracking to examine infants' expectations of others' behavior in social situations.
