The IMPEDE project aims to develop a new formulation of Coenzyme A precursor that can effectively treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. This formulation seeks to enhance the therapeutic properties of the molecule while protecting it from breakdown in the body.
Auto-immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and inflammation-associated brain diseases including Alzheimer's disease (AD) globally make up a €45B market and cost society close to €648B.
