This project investigates how plants respond to pathogens through the immune hormone salicylic acid. It aims to understand the molecular mechanisms that regulate plant immune responses, which can improve crop protection strategies.
Plants are continuously exposed to a wide variety of pathogenic attackers that cause major crop losses to agriculture worldwide.
