This project explores advanced imaging techniques, particularly Ghost Imaging, to recover hidden information about light beams. By utilizing spatially resolved detection, the research aims to achieve simultaneous phase and amplitude imaging, with potential applications in various fields including biology and security.
Optical intensity measurements usually recover only partial information of the wave and of the media that has been gone through since phase information is lost.
Interferometric imaging techniques allows us to recover the phase information but are often unstable and hard to implement due to mechanical vibrations and media fluctuations.
