The IGUANABOT project develops a bioinspired underwater robot that mimics marine iguanas, capable of both swimming and walking on the seafloor. It aims to enhance ecological measurements and marine conservation efforts.
Robotic systems in marine environments could enable high-resolution measurements of ecological processes at extraordinary scales, pushing the boundaries of current methods.
