The IDEAL project investigates how early life conditions influence health and aging through epigenetic regulation. It aims to identify key determinants affecting growth, metabolism, and longevity, using human cohorts and animal studies to develop interventions for healthier aging.
IDEAL will obtain insight into the role of early life conditions affecting late-life health, disease and aging, and the role of epigenetic regulation therein.
