The ICEVOLUME project aims to quantify changes in Icelandic ice caps over the last 75 years using Digital Elevation Models derived from historical aerial photographs. It will analyze these changes alongside meteorological data to understand their causes.
The ICEVOLUME project aims to quantify the ice volume changes of Icelandic ice caps from the 1930s to the present through time series of Digital Elevation Models (DEMs).
The DEMs will be produced by stereophotogrammetry on historical oblique and vertical aerial photographs.
