This project investigates how social organizations in extreme poverty settings, particularly in South Asia's education sector, can grow and enhance their social impact. It combines qualitative and quantitative methods to understand the factors influencing their success and social performance.
There is arguably a lack of research on organizations with social goals in management.
For anextreme case, i.e., of poverty, Prahalad (2006) described compelling examples of innovativeorganizations in South Asia, which he suggested served the poor.
