The I3DS project develops a modular platform of integrated 3D sensors for future space exploration missions. It aims to enhance robotic capabilities for various tasks, including debris removal and autonomous navigation, by providing advanced sensing and data processing functionalities.
The I3DS platform (Integrated 3D sensors) is a generic and modular system answering the needs of near-future space exploration missions in terms of exteroceptive and proprioceptive sensors with integrated pre-processing and data concentration functions.
