I-UPS focuses on creating a novel high-temperature industrial heat pump that operates efficiently at around 400°C. This technology aims to decarbonize industrial heating by integrating with renewable energy systems and utilizing advanced design techniques for improved performance and flexibility.
I-UPS aims to develop and validate a first-of-a-kind (FOAK), cost-effective and reliable high-temperature industrial heat pump fully integrated in a flexible energy system for industrial medium temperature (~400°C) heat decarbonisation.
