The i-NANOSWARMS project aims to create enzyme-powered nanobots that can self-propel and exhibit collective behaviors through communication. By studying their interactions in biological environments, the project seeks to enhance applications in drug delivery and medical imaging.
In nature, systems composed of self-propelling agents display complex behaviors such as signal interpretation, propagation, amplification and engage in collective motion mediated by interactions between different agents and their environment.
