I-BIRDS develops an innovative system using bio-inspired flapping-wing robots to create detailed 3D maps of noise and air quality in urban areas. This technology aims to lower costs and improve safety in environmental monitoring by replacing traditional drones with quieter, more efficient unmanned aerial vehicles.
I-BIRDS proposes the development of the first intelligent system capable of generating high-resolution 3D maps of noise and air quality in urban and industrial environments using bio-inspired flapping-wing robots.
