The HYSCORE project focuses on controlling quantum spins in solids to create robust quantum networks. By integrating various quantum information carriers, it aims to enable efficient quantum feedback and entanglement between remote spins, enhancing long-distance quantum communication capabilities.
Spins in solids are at the heart of fundamental physical phenomena such as magnetism.
Today, they are harnessed in a range of technologies such as magnetic resonance imaging and spintronics for recording media.
