The Hyperion project focuses on developing a novel DNA-based data storage technology that utilizes enzymatic DNA synthesis for high-density storage solutions. It aims to create a scalable and cost-effective method for data writing, potentially transforming the future of data storage.
The Hyperion project will prove the concept of affordable, scalable data storage with DNA by developing a world beating writing technology based on the precise, robust control of enzymatic DNA synthesis with a very dense semiconductor integrated circuit.The 4-year research project will further develop a breakthrough approach by the deeptech research-intensive company DNA Script and show that very high-density enzymatic DNA synthesis is feasible.
