This project examines the relationship between hunting and biodiversity conservation, focusing on how cultural, social, and economic factors influence attitudes and behaviors towards natural resource management. It aims to develop strategies for mitigating conflicts over biodiversity use.
Biodiversity conservation increasingly takes place outside protected areas in multiple-use landscapes.
Success in achieving biodiversity objectives is closely linked to the extent to which conservation can be integrated with the cultural, social and economic objectives and aspirations of people.
