This project investigates the interactions between lung bacteria and the immune system, particularly in transplant patients. It aims to establish a culture collection of lung bacteria and analyze their effects on lung health.
Human lung microbiota research is in its infancy, but has already provided compelling evidence that lung bacteria have key roles in human health.
