The HSPACE project aims to enhance communication systems by developing advanced space division multiplexing technologies. This will allow for higher data transmission capacities using multi-core and few-mode fibers, addressing the growing demand for broadband services.
Our information society relies to an unprecedented extent on broadband communication solutions such as high-speed Internet access, mobile voice and data services, multimedia broadcast systems, etc.
