The HR-Recycler project focuses on developing a hybrid human-robot recycling plant for processing Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). It aims to automate the pre-processing of electronic waste, enhancing efficiency and safety while extracting valuable materials for recycling.
The technological advances that have been achieved over the past decades have led to a tremendous increase of both the types and the total amount of electrical and electronic equipment that is manufactured.
