This project develops an innovative solar façade water heating system that integrates a unique heat pipe structure with architectural design. It aims to enhance solar efficiency while addressing common issues in traditional systems, such as aesthetic concerns and freezing hazards.
The proposed research aims to develop a novel solar façade water heating system involving several technical initiatives, i.e., unique loop heat pipe structure, integrated façade and heat pipe configuration, and heat pump assisted low temperature heat pipe operation.
