This project develops a method to estimate losses in offshore wind turbines due to aging and environmental factors, particularly focusing on seismic risks. It aims to create a probabilistic framework to assess the fragility and risk of these turbines under multiple hazards, including climate change impacts.
Aging-affected and deteriorating structural elements negatively influence the load-bearing capacity and fragility of offshore wind turbines (OWTs) under earthquake and environmental loads.
