HOLOSTED is a biophysics project that combines advanced optical techniques to investigate the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on synaptic plasticity. It focuses on enhancing super-resolution microscopy methods and studying the role of Amyloid beta in neuronal signaling at the level of individual dendritic spines.
