This project seeks to expand the applications of the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory correspondence to better understand strongly coupled gauge theories. It focuses on four specific systems, aiming to uncover new insights into holographic duality and its implications.
We propose a project whose goal is to broaden the current range of applicability of the AdS/CFT correspondence, to draw lessons for the strongly coupled dynamics of gauge theories in diverse dimensions and to learn about new aspects of the holographic duality.
To achieve these goals we focus on four systems with interesting and useful applications: (i) flavor dynamics in holographic QCD, (ii) the AdS4/CFT3 correspondence and non-perturbative dynamics of supersymmetric Chern-Simons-matter theorie…
