The HISER project aims to enhance the recovery of raw materials from construction and demolition waste through innovative sorting and recycling technologies. It focuses on developing sustainable building products and improving recycling rates, contributing to a circular economy in the construction sector.
EU28 currently generates 461 million tons per year of ever more complex construction and demolition waste (C&DW) with average recycling rates of around 46%.
