This research focuses on developing high-dimensional theories of expander graphs, which have applications in both computer science and pure mathematics. The goal is to explore simplicial complexes and hypergraphs to solve problems related to extremal hypergraph theory and error-correcting codes.
Expander graphs have been playing a fundamental role in many areas of computer science.
During the last 15 years they have also found important and unexpected applications in pure mathematics.
