This project aims to enhance the understanding of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) under extreme conditions at the Large Hadron Collider. It focuses on studying jet behavior in heavy-ion collisions and developing theoretical tools for interpreting experimental data.
The discovery potential of the Large Hadron Collider and, in particular, its heavy-ion program, will be largely conditioned by the existence of strong theoretical groups able to interpret the experimental findings.
