This project focuses on improving predictions of high-energy jet productions in proton-proton collisions and their interactions with the Quark-Gluon Plasma. By developing a new energy-loss mechanism and a numerical program, it aims to enhance understanding of nuclear modifications at large jet momentum.
Perturbative QCD (pQCD) derived from first principles, is used to predict experimental observations involving large momentum transfer, such as high-energy jet productions in proton-proton collisions, and the strong interaction between the jet and the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) medium created in nucleus-nucleus collisions.
