This project aims to make molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases accessible to small and medium-sized hospitals. By developing a portable testing device that provides rapid and accurate results, the project seeks to improve patient care and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
Roughly 85% of small & medium sized hospitals remain without molecular diagnostics capabilities for human infectious diseases.
Current solutions are expensive or have complex workflows and therefore have been unable to penetrate this large market segment.
