HER-CARE aims to improve early detection and management of hereditary breast cancer in young women. The project integrates genetic, molecular, and imaging data using advanced technologies to develop personalized treatment strategies.
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women, with European countries having some of the highest age-standardized incident rates of early-onset (< age 50) breast cancer in the world.
